Join the Lahaina Restoration Foundation for a unique theatrical journey into Hawaii's past at the History Theatre event. This year's presentation, "Rediscovering History: The Birth of Museums, Libraries and Archives in Hawaii", will feature portrayals of significant figures like Robert Crichton Wyllie, Edna Allyn, and George R. Carter whose collections and work formed the basis of Hawaii's historical archives and public library system. The performances will occur at the historic Waiola Church Cemetery, with three performances happening simultaneously. Guests will cycle through all three performances, necessitating some walking. As it's an outdoor event, attendees should dress accordingly and be prepared to walk on potentially uneven ground after sunset. Water stations will be available throughout the event. Free parking will be provided at the Waiola Church.
